The cost of the programme is inclusive of:
· all juices and broths
· pills and powders and other supplements
· lemon water and herbal teas which you can take freely all day

As there is a maximum of 14 persons per group, there is a high level of personal care and supervision provided.
Not included in the programme fee but available
· Drop off and pickup at the Faro airport; single ride €55 per person, shared ride €45 per person (2 people), €35 per person, (3 or more).
· As extra treatments we offer Swedish massage, Lymph drainage massage, Thai Yoga massage, Aromatherapy massage, Sacro Cranial Therapy, Bicom Therapy, Joaõ de Deus Crystal Bed, Kinesiology, Reflexology, Healing, Reiki, Acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, Shiatsu, Physiospect. (We endeavour to have the extra treatments available for all programsmes, but some are dependant on the availability of the therapist). The cost for the extra treatments i s f rom €65 to €85 per session.

· There is no mobile phone signal in the valley, but you can usually connect up the hill.
· All the extras are payable at the end of the stay in cash or personal cheque.
What to Expect
You will have a vegetable soup on Saturday evening. You will be fasting from Sunday morning. The daily programme of juices is:- 10am - a jug of orange juice, 1pm - a jug of fruit juice, 4pm - a single glass of vegetable juice and at 7pm - a mixed vegetable broth which contains lots of minerals. It is a simple juice diet, with various supplements to assist your body with the detoxification process and to push toxins out of your digestive system. At all times we provide lemon water and herbal teas which you can take freely. If, for any reason you break the fast early, we are not able to provide regular meals during the fasting programmes.
Accommodation: Rooms are simple and basic with an attached shower and toilet room. An individual patio/relaxation/reading area adjoins each room. Rooms have telephones (outgoing calls only). Although there is no mobile phone signal in the valley where Moinhos Velhos is located, a signal is generally found just a short walk up the hill. In the main house there is a central computer for internet access. The central clinic building houses the treatment rooms, the QRS Magnet Healing bed, zapping equipment, a relaxation area and a small library.
Therapies: On the first morning, the therapists are introduced and a schedule is open to make your therapy reservations. We will also show you how to use the Clysmatic, a gentle colonic cleansing system you administer yourself in the privacy of your bathroom, twice a day.
Exercise, Meditation and Relaxation Each morning at 8am there will be a Meditation and Yoga, (Qigong once a week). Every evening there is meditation. Attendance to both of these is highly recommended as these are designed to assist in your detoxification process.
During the detoxification process, blockages and tensions held in the physical, mental and emotional levels of the body are released, these practices help you to let go of them, to relax properly and to sleep more comfortably. During the day you can relax, swim, explore and walk around the area and help out in the organic gardens. There are a collection of videos and DVD's of related subjects and movies to watch. On alternate days the Sauna or Hot tub is available in the early evening. One day each week we have an outing, weather dependent, either to one of the beautiful local Algarve beaches or to Lagos
You should arrive the day that your program
starts, which is always a Saturday.
Your room will be ready for you by early afternoon, but
you can arrive anytime during the day.
Departure is on the last day of the program,
which for the two weeks and seven days programs is also
on a Saturday. Check out time is 12 noon.
Departure for the 10 days program is on a Tuesday.
The day that the program starts we serve a
soup in the evening and give some information about the
program. For the seven days and ten days programs you will
be breaking the fast on your own, but we will provide you
with a healthy food basket to take with you and information
how to break the fast. For the two weeks program we break
the fast on day 11 and serve breakfast on the day of departure.

rooms have attached bathrooms with shower, toilet, sink
and the Clysmatic.
The cottages have two separate bathrooms.
Included in the cost:
The herbs, powders, minerals, vitamins, fresh fruit and
vegetable juices/broth. (Whenever possible, the fruits and
vegetables come from our own organic garden or from local
organic farmers). Free use of our salt water swimming pool,
HotTub, Sauna, Magnet Healing Bed, Foot Detox and of the
Zapper. Colonics (every bathroom is equipped with the Clysmatic,
a gravity colonics unit). Various
therapies are available at €65-100 per session. Transport
to and from Moinhos Velhos is not included, but pickup from
Lagos is free.
